I found a green plastic item in my Tesco chicken curry last night.
Its about 2''x1/2'' with a hole in, and a few strands of red string.

Have kept it in the fridge and taken a photo.

Contact the Daily Mail and get your sad face ready ;)
Can you post a photo for us trt ? I don't know how to do it but I am sure there is someone on here who does !
....and if you HAVE to buy prepared curry meals, at least get them from Waitrose!
Read the label carefully. Does it say, "May contain traces of green plastic disks and red string".
If so, you haven't any chance of a refund.
Retrieve the packaging as it will have the serial numbers on to identify the batch.
it obviously shouldn't have been there but then again there probably wasn't any chicken in it either

Would take it back to customer services at the store you bought it from. That way you will at least get a replacement or your money back. Maybe get a bit more if you mention taking it to the press??
Naah. Write to the M.D. at Tesco, include the bits and bobs in the envelope and make sure your name and address is on the envelope. Send it by recorded delivery. Don't address it to Customer service--it has to go to the M.D. at their head office! It's ALWAYS worked for me.
keep or photo the wrapping
and photo the thang

then take it back to where you bought it.

I found in fact the front desk pretty awful
and the manager to whom I wrote very helpful

and then I discovered blush blush ( pebble in hazelnuts ) that they work on the (conclusion) that 90% are put in by the consumer who are seeking compensation. I had facetiously suggested geological analysis and they would find the pebble not- indigenous to Lancs.
