Low fat treats
I am on a diet at the moment and hate missing out on my favorite foods. However I love chocolate (who doesn't!!) and one of my treats is a one jaffa cake after dinner, only 46 kcal!!!

I used to only eat snack a jacks but a bag of quavers even though smaller has less calories but with out the cardboard texture!!! And when on a sunday i would do my family a big fry up to cure the hangovers, now i have really low fat sausage (icelands good intentions are excellent) they are still real pork but when u grill them NO FAT DRIPS OUT!!!! with half a tin of beans (people always think they have to buy weight watchers beans, but that in unneccessary) with 2 eggs mixed with skimmed milk and microwaved in a mug (scrambled egg) or on a hign lipped plate (omlette) and 2 wholemeal toast with st ivel gold lowest ever spread (lowest fat spread in britain i beleive) and whoila! a low fat altenative to a fry up and yummy aswell. you can have grilled toms and other veg if u wish as well. if that makes any sense, it is an excellent low fat alternative.
My downfall has always been chocs, cakes, cream, butter ,biscuits..oh loads of fattening stuff !
My latest trick is a low fat yogurt with a couple of meringue nests crumbled into it.It gives me that sugar high and then I am O.K. I dare not go anyway near a bar of chocolate or packet of biccies because I know I can't stop at one !! For other sweet treats I sprinkle raisins on my weetabix or porridge.
Sad isn't it !!!
Can't believe I forgot my saviours! In Tesco, etc, they sell Skinny Cow Ice Cream. In lolly form, cones, in tubs and swirl pots and it is delicious. It's so much better than any low fat ice cream I've ever had, tastes like the real thing. I am addicted to the mint choc chip lollies at the moment- just 90 cals each! x
