Cracked Ipad Screen

Anyone had a screen replaced is it costly to do?

I looked into it - cracked the screen on mine ages ago, it's was practically brnd new :(

I think it was about £80 but apple won't do them anymore.

Some of those phone unlocking places will fix a screen or you can buy the kit to do it yourself (google it, it's not for the feint hearted). I'm still using mine with a cracked screen. Someone in the apple shop told my husband that they didn't fix them anymore, can't remember the reason (but they did say that people get them fixed by a phone unlocker and then claim on the insurance for a new one).
