It's sometimes hard to see where simple, though misguided, faith ends and cupidity begins.
When I do my yoga Salute to the Sun, it does feel a bit...er...pagan.

lol, in my mums village they do tai chi on the church green in the mornings....
Unsavoury... ? Never tasted them.

Some religious types tend to knock anything that hasn't started from their religion. Must spend all their lives seeing demons around every corner.

If anybody saw me in the morning they might think I was doing Tai Chi. I'm not, it's just me taking a while to get moving.

You're right, Old Geezer. Last year in the run up to Halloween there was a Protestant minister on the radio talking of the dangers it presented to children. In his eyes bobbing for apples or going trick-or-treating and they've taken the first steps on the slippery slope to devil worship.

I think the poor old boy has got mixed up with tantric yoga of which wiki says: "Following these first Tantric presentations, popular authors (such as Joseph Campbell) brought Tantra to the attention of Westerners. It was seen as a "cult of ecstasy", combining sexuality and spirituality to correct Western repressive attitudes towards sex"
