What a jerk.

Dinner - roasted salmon, a little thyme, black pepper and into the Aga.

With it some green asparagus and french beans.

And fresh spaghetti in a ginger, lime and chilli sauce, some of the extra chilli into the pasta as well. So what does muggins do but disobey one of the cardinal rules of handling chopped chilli in inadvertently wiping my right eye after chopping it finely, a glass of cold Sauv Blanc waiting......bloody agony for 15 mins, my eye above my eyebrows and around my cheekbone burning on for another 15.

(i) don't do it (ii) Any of you done this or some form of kitchen numptiness?

More than once I've found that 'pointing Percy at the porcelain' immediately after handling chillies is a very unwise thing to do ;-)
I did exactly the same thing DTc I thought I'd end up in hospital it was so bad. PS: Your dinner sounds lovely.

Thanks Chris, saves me having to confess that one!
