I would , can't see a problem really, once its totally decorated. Just wondering who would and who wouldn't touch it with a barge pole -even at this knockdown price

New occupiers would bring a new ambiance. A family, particularly one with small children, would soon lay any ghosts and make it a happy place.

Zacs-Master I suppose its more do you believe in ghosts or 'atmosphere' in a house after a traumatic event. We rented a house once that had a 'funny' atmosphere and found out later that someone had had an accident in it and died when it had been a barn. Can't say if the Atmosphere was due to that though.
I wouldn't have a problem. I do not believe in ghosts or anything like that. In any old house there is a reasonable chance someone has died there, I know for a fact there have been two deaths in my house, one happened pretty much right where I am sitting now (in the dining room that was a downstairs bathroom at the time).
I wouldn't mind- nearly every house I've lived in has been over 100 years old, some 500 years old, think of all the deaders those must've seen- some of them are bound to have been home to a murder, so I don't think it matters in terms of someone new living there and if it was cheap I'd be happy to buy it.
