Removed questions

I have just viewed my profile and noticed that I have had 3 answers removed. I have never put obscene or rude questions, so why would they have been removed?

Could have been an imposter lizwizz with a username very similar to yours.

If you've answered a question and, for whatever reason, the whole question has been removed, your answers will be removed too.

U may have accidentally submitted an answer/question more than once i've done that a couple of times but mine got banned.

It maybe that AB Ed decided your answer contributed more to chat than to answering the original post. I had an answer removed on Monday as well. It was on the pink post one page back now. There were several "replies" over the weekend and all of them disappeared on Monday. As long as we all get treated the same, who cares?

Englishbird's answer won't be the reason why your profile shows some posts have been removed. I've posted responses to several questions which have later been removed. Obviously, my replies have disappeared at the same time but this has never been shown in my profile. (Currently 2402 replies with none removed).

Shaneystar2's suggestion of an imposter doesn't seem to add up either. If someone was posting as Lizwizz (AB is case sensitive) any removed posts would show on Lizwizz's profile rather than that of lizwizz.

The 'chat' suggestion is certainly one reason why some posts might have been removed. Another possibility could be the inclusion of an e-mail address within the post. Until recently, this was a breach of AB's rules.

you can go through the posts in your profile, if you wish, and find which ones have been removed; they'll have a Removed by AnswerBank label on. Sometimes posts get posted two or three times by accident, without your even noticing, because of some technical quirk, in which case all but one will be removed, so it might have been that.
