Hello All.I am using windows 7 and have just noticed that my desktop gadgets have vanished for no apparent reason. I only use the clock, weather forcaster and currency converter. Someone told me earlier tonight that W7 have cancelled this site. Is this true and if so is there any way I can get these gadgets back ?..Thanks.

There ar loads of suggested solutions around on the web. Some involve digging deeep into your computer's system files but hopefully that can be avoided by trying the simplest solution first:

That will hopefully restore the original gadgets. You can then add or remove gadgets, as required.

Microsoft have removed Gadgets as they pose serious risks for your computer from viruses and hackers.

Microsoft have admitted this so it must be bad, so if I were you I would stop using them.
