Mr O's Mid Life Crisis
37 Answers
At one side of our drive is or rather was a rockery. Over the years I have invested time and money buying plants and keeping it tidy.
Last week I came home after being out all day to find we no longer had a rockery. Mr O has dug up every single plant and removed most of the rocks. He has turfed it over so it now looks like an undulating hillside.
What has made me think he is having a midlife crisis is the fact he has bought three large ornamental sheep and put them on the grass......and he moves them into different positions on a daily basis.
Is this normal behaviour?

Psychologically I think Mr O is on the cusp of his mid-life crisis. His yearning to see green fields and grazing sheep, plus the act of moving the sheep into different places suggests that he is unconsciously asking that should be put out to grass too. Alter his diet, no mackerel or roasted seagull or laverbread from now on and maybe you'd better not serve lamb in all it's forms in case he gets the mid-life urge for spring lambs in all their forms. Does he move the sheep during the night? Hilda the Headfeeler.

I would also counsel that he doesn't dress in wool, leather, alpaca or llama, otherwise you risk him cutting the lawn with his teeth and that would be a benefit. On the other hand, I have two acres of lawn here that he can safely graze. Don't know what condition his boobies are in - with the view of having a potential hucow.
