Track Day Tyres.....

Just done a track day in the car and I did sruggle for grip in places. Now I know they do trackday tyres but I don't want to spend an arm and a leg. Just wondered if anyone has any experience of the lesser makes of track day tyre and can recommend some. eg this is the sort of thing:
