Sat here chatting to you lot, looking at where it's lightning on woofgangs amazing (to me) website, chatting to a friend who's just going for breakfast in Majorca via FB Messenger and having a laugh with an old college buddy on FB. We take it for granted too!

and when there's a power cut or you need to wait for funds to become available to top up a dongle, you feel so isolated.

Yes, it's a bit disturbing how one feels slightly panicky when you're out of a wifi zone.
I have no idea what it is, I've never used it, either way, I see no future in it, just a flash in the pan.
Young Chill finds it difficult to comprehend how my friends and I communicated when I was his age(14).
Using 2p in a call box or if at home, having to ask my parents permission before using the phone.
No mobiles, no internet, no X-Box etc and how as a young soldier of 19 getting a letter from a girlfriend that had taken over a week was the most prized possession.

In these modern days of communication it's funny how in many ways we've lost the power or even art of what used to be communication/conversation.

Chill, I believe the internet has greatly enhanced conversation / communication. Ok so it's not quite an 'art' anymore but it's a damn site more efficient.
I don't have time Zac I'm too busy reading my Playboy magazines.
I agree Zacs but like I said, there's nothing like a letter from a girlfriend back home.
