I have a brand new pair of trainers (2 years old) "never worn".

However, from past experience of wearing trainers found they were only useful for running on a treadmill but when I wore them for walking they pulled at the small of my back - can be really painful.

Anybody have same problem and if so, what shoes do you wear when walking.

No Anne don't wear heels anymore unfortunately. Obviously no response from any other Abers so nobody seems to have a problem.

My cousin has also the same problem and some weeks ago went for a mini walk and had to use her work shoes.

Thanks Anne for your reply.
you could try wearing them around the house, you may get used to them.

That's a good idea.

When I bought said trainers - they persuaded me to buy socks from them and believe it or not there is right and left foot. Muggins here bought them.
There are so many different sorts of trainers - running, jogging, sports - perhaps the ones you have are not just for general wear?
