Thank you mallyh. Never thought about Minstrels but have already used Treats in another part of the story. I have used Space Dust already, is that the same as Moondust? I have got myself in a bit of a twizzy with this story.

Sports Mixture (or is it Sports Mix) are popular sweets- a slightly harder version of wine gums and midget gems. I bought them regularly 40 odd years ago and still see them on sale now

I have just been checking my lists of sweets and there sits Lions Sports Mixture. I obviously missed it. I cannot remember them in the shops but then I never ate many sweets even as a child and still don't. I have had the odd wine gum but if I ate sweets it was always Pear Drops or Pineapple Chunks.
