Problems Trying To Buy Train Tickets From Spanish Train Operator Renfe!!

I have tried 5 times now. all i get an error message!! I´m trying to get from santander to madrid, but its seems impossible, keep getting an error pop up!!
even tried 2 different browsers, firefox and internet explorer

RENFE's website is notoriously troublesome but you don't have to book through it. It's easier to use SNCF's UK website:
http://uk.voyages-sncf.com/en/
(Hint: When you're shown the fare, which will probably be £42.00, it's not immediately obvious how to move to the payment stage. The trick is to click on 'Show more fares' first).

the man in seat 61 isn´t good, it just directs me to renfe

i finally bought the tickets, i used a mates pc, and used my english debit card instead of my spanish debit card.
will need to talk to my spanish bank though.
