I can't understand why I am losing weight. I out on three stone during pregnancy and before that I was a healthy weight. I would like to lose the weight and have had bouts of dieting but never lost anything. I gave up the dieting and have made no effort to lose weight at all. But in 3 months of dieting I have Lost a stone and a half. I do half an hour of walking a day at least and some days it's 2 hours. On an average day I eat:
Two litres of sugar free squash
Pint of strawberry milkshake
Breakfast:
Cous Cous with mediteranean veg and ham (I know that weird)
A mug of coffee with for chocolate chip biscuits
Lunch:
Mashed potato
Pulled pork
Bbq sauce
Loads of green veg
Slice of vanilla cheesecake
Dinner:
Lasagne with salad
Chocolate brownie
Bowl of melon
Supper:
Mug of hot chocolate
I'm aware I have too much sugar so I have cut out sugary juice and now have sugar free juice and I have cut out sugar with tea and coffee.
I have average sized portions not massive ones and I don't snack but I do eat too much I feel.
My eating habits haven't changed since I became pregnant and on this diet I was a healthy size 12.
I think you're not eating enough fruit and veg, and too much cake and sugary stuff - but it's probably the walking which is helping you lose weight, I wish I could have lost a stone and a half in three months!
I'm confused by this. I can't work out whether you are losing more weight than you want to (as per the title) or putting weight on/not losing enough (as you end by asking whether we think you are eating too much).
