I don't think this would be my first priority.... http://www.sandrashashou.com/category/abstract/broken/

SANDRA SHASHOU
'Broken' Series

There is a tantalising bounty of very affecting sensations that can be drawn from Sandra Shashou’s new 'Broken' series, in which a coral of bone china appears desecrated beyond repair, into an attractive spill of decadent colours and splintered shapes. This is all very effectively cajoled into a portrait sized space, looking like fragments that could fire outwardly at any given moment. Choreographing the fallout from what might appear as a series of tender explosions of period porcelain, Shashou masterfully draws the splintered fragments back together in order to create something fantastical.

There is a brutal beauty about the 'Broken' series that delivers a jolt to your sensations as you begin to comprehend the devastating intensity of these severed pieces of porcelain, laid bare in these remarkable colour-filled portrait and landscape works.

It wouldn't be what I would spend the money on. I can think of things I would rather have.
Devastating intensity? What a load of carp

I thought that, scorpio - "effectively cajoled"? what a schpiel!
Gosh, I wonder how many thousands of pounds worth of "art" I've thrown out over the years.
£7.50 seems excessive.

Perhaps we should all start saving up our old broken china....

I made something similar a couple of Months ago, if I'd realised I could have got £7½k for it, I wouldn't have put it in the Dustbin!
The description had me so hopeful. The reality is a huge let down.

But for anyone who invests in new artists, maybe she is what they look for. Art is too personal and subjective to judge what others may like.
Oh...and I do wonder if investors actually *like* what they invest in.
It's not my cup of tea. Get it....
Oh please yer selves.
There are DIY instructions for something similar in this month's Prima Craft magazine......if you really want one and can't afford to buy....☺
Hang on I've got an hammer and some super glue, I could make some similar and knock them out for £2.50 a time. Anybody want one ?.
