I have googled it but without much luck. Can anyone please advise me on cutting a boy's hair. Fed up forking out 10 a go I just ordered a clipper set , I'm sure I can do just as well at home! My son has a shortish, wispy fringe, shorter at the back, a bit longer on top.

It was such a disaster I had to take him to get it professionally sorted out, the professionals make it look so easy, but believe me it's not. He wouldn't let me touch his hair after that not suprisingly. Reminds me I must advertise the clippers on Ebay!
My boyfriend lets me cut his hair with clippers and, believe me, his appearance is very important to him! So I'm sure you could get away with it on your son (unless he's David Beckham of course!).
I have found it quite easy (I'm no expert at all). You just have to go slowly and start off with a longer piece on the clipper so you can always take more off after.
I ususally do the sides first, then back, then top part.
Oh my!!!
My mother did the same thing to me once and then tried to give me tram lines using scissors!
Clippers from home are really only ok for shaving the hair really short all over, like a grade 2 all over really short. Other than that you would need a pair of thinning scissors to blend the longer hair at the back with the shaved hair.
