Insect Bite

About a week ago i was bitten on my leg by what i assume was an insect. It flared up into a large hard lump and was very painful but after a few days began to heal. This morning, for no apparent reason it has flared up again and is worse than ever.The bite has a white ring around it then around that is very red, raised and hard........should i be worried? Anyone experienced anything similar?

Concerned....not worried.
How do you fell in yourself..hot..sweaty, tired off your food?
It might be worth while making an appt with your GP as he may feel that a course of antibiotics is warranted.

I feel ok in myself but my leg is aching and the area is painful to touch.

P.S of course you are taking at least 400mgms of Ibuprofen in one dose to ease the pain..?
