Sorry if this has been asked before. How can I get rid of the Activate SS5 message permanently from my screen? I have activated it even though I don't want football but it is still there. I know I can use the back up button but it returns after every ad break. A little thing I know but annoying. Thanks

The only thing that seems to remove it is pressing the 'back up' button - but it'll be back the next time you go to Sky Sports!

If you have the facility that allows you to 'Live Pause' the programme and then restart.

You are now viewing a couple of seconds behind but this has the effect of eliminating the advert after a commercial break.

quizbag-how did you activate it??? see my previous question-we have sky sports package and want the channel but can't activate it.

My daughter did it for me. She clicked on the message and then followed the instructions which also included putting in my password number. Sorry I can't be more specific I am a little vague when it comes to technology.
