Due to me being a bit of an idiot I have managed to orders shed load of salad stuff.....to add to the salad stuff I already have.

Frustratingly I have ended up with a fridge containing at least four cucumbers, four peppers, two bags of leaves and there are two punnets of tomatoes on the windowsill.

To make things worse there is only me to eat it and I prefer more interesting salads and refuse to go shopping for extras as it will just be adding to the food mountain.

I can see some gazpacho and avocado & cucumber soup on the horizon.

What the hell I'm going to do with two bags of leaves is a mystery though :-(

If you really must consume that awful salad stuff, why not liquidise it and make one of those fashionable healthy green juice type drinks ? Just don't offer me a glass !

You're nat fancying any of my chilled avocado and cucumber soup then?

What about the gazpacho.....it's a red/pink colour?
I'll go for an iced cucumber soup......
Chilled avocado and cucumber! Sounds great and bursting with goodness.
A good excuse to eat some crab or lobster with the avocado and cucumber.......?
Ugh !

Gazpacho, chopped and left to fester over night, before whizzing and passing tomorrow.

Avocado was beyond its best so I'll either buy one or go for a straight chilled cuke soup.

Managed to offload a bag of leaves onto a friend.

Throw the leaves in some chicken stock...freeze. Use at a later date to braise some Lions Head meatballs ( giant spicey Chinese pork balls).
Give it away to your friends.
