Yes my hair has bothered me a lot in the heat but I wouldn't dream of cutting it for that reason, I just put it up in a scrunchie.

I went last week and did the 'cut it all off' thing. It was long (just above bra strap area) and is now in a jaw length inverted bob with a side fringe. It's much nicer to have my hair off my neck! I have very thick hair so the heat is a pain in the arris for me.
