Cooked Chicken

Was in my local butcher just to buy meat but ended up buying a whole cooked chicken. Had some breast which was lovely but went to give Mr Harv a little and found the leg was rather pink.

I now have it in oven to cook even more. Are yous happy with a cooked chicken?

I buy the small defrosted shrimps as a treat for No. 1 Son :-)

This what I mean Pasta - marinade the prawns for them to taste - so in fact you are just tasting the marinade. Why do we need to smother our food in sauces for taste.

Interesting. I'd bought a chicken leg a while ago and since it only had a couple of days left to the use by date, had it for tea yesterday. Ready to serve cold or hot it said on the label. I opted for cold, but it proved very pink near the bone, when I'd got that far. Doesn't seem to have done me any harm though.
