I was thinking that one way the AB could be improved is instead of having it so that no matter how popular a question has been it will immediately slowly start going down the web page have it so that for ever answer a question receives it will automatically be moved up to the top of the page. This is what is done in almost all of the Internet forums.

and this can be done here if u choose the most recently answered option on the screen below the posting box

with the amount of questions answered all the unanswered would just disappear quicker.

and also many new users go back to questions months, even years old and answer them- when the asker is no longer wanting answers, and then people woul rehash the because they are at the top
