thank you for your kind advice
the difficult issue is food which needs to be kept in fridge/freezer.
As Danny K says if you have your own cupboard. Otherwise buy something like a school truck box and keep it in your room for non perishables.
tackle them - clearly you are new to being a student :-)
Labelling it used to prick their consciences a bit in my day
prudie, re last weeks thread, I saw what you meant. ( hope that makes sense ) excuse me postman.
Tackling them won't do any good. Labelling it won't do any good. If it's not screwed down, or placed behind bars with a ferocious dog to guard it, students will nick it.
Get a mini fridge and keep it all in your room :)
Stick a notice on the cupboard :

"One or more of the items in here has been spiked with laxative ... Are you feeling lucky?"
Thanks anne, I wasn't just saying it to be controversial!
Bookbinder exactly, students nicking each other's food is par for the course :-)
I know that pru.............
I'd tackle them and I'd get a lock for the cupboard. Shame to have to do it but we have all been there as both victim and as occasional thief! Who has never stolen milk for their tea of a spoonful of coffee when they have run out?

Another thing to do is to buy as you go rather than to do a big shop and leave it there to tempt them.
Warning:

⚠ HIV bacteria
Or even some vegetarian options and a Gluten free cereal is probably enough to put them off!
