Dear all

Those of you plagued with cold calls - here's a hand hint which I've just received from the Call Prevention Registry (to which we subscribe).

"When using any price comparison website never use your real telephone number as it will invariably be sold on. By inputting 01111 111111 you will still be able to use the site without subjecting yourself to the risk of suddenly prolific cold callers."

^ handy hint
If it accepts that it probably would accept any number 11 digit number starting 0. Put in your boss' mobile number ;-)
Thanks, Boxy....that's useful.....

Just this minute had another international call which, after dozens of silent ones, had a man named George on the other end.....he gave up after listening to my waffle about my mother's corns, dentures and my brother's reluctance to administer her pile cream.....I quite enjoy it if I'm honest....x

If they don't pick up the other end straight away, I hang up.
I give cold callers a full rendition of my farm yard animal calls. I also do an excellent tawny owl & a brilliant cuckoo call.
Thanks boxtops. Ruthie xx
