For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Sounds like you have something in your startup section which is trying to run but can't be found. Have a look through the items set to start up when you switch on your computer by going to Start > Run and typing "msconfig" (without quotes) and pressing Enter. Go to the Startup tab and see if you can see your item in there. If you can, you should be able to stop it from attempting to run each time by unticking the box to the left of it.
A registry cleaner might also help. A good one (which also acts as a replacement for the Windows Disk Cleanup utility) is CCleaner. You can get it from http://www.ccleaner.com/ for free. The 'issues' item on the left hand menu is the registry cleaner.
