wiring a sub and amp into your home
does anyone know how to/ or where i can get information on wiring an amp and sub so that i can use it at home. at the moment its all wired into my car, but im gonna scrap the car, and was considering selling the amp and stuff untill i thought it would be cool if i could use it with a stereo in my house. i just really have no idea how i would accomplish this. if anyone could tell me how i could wire it all so i could plug it into the mains in my house, and input music from a cd player/ ipod/ pc, than i would be very grateful. all info would be appreciated. i think the amp and sub are both 500 watts.

Fisrt you have to power the thing (not easy) then you have to turn the thing on (again not easy as this is normaly done by a wire from your car stereo) Then its quite simple to hook up a cd/mp3 player to it as long as your amp has channels to drive your left and right speakers, plus your sub. if your up for a challenge then take a look at this link!!!
