does anyone know how to/ or where i can get information on wiring an amp and sub so that i can use it at home. at the moment its all wired into my car, but im gonna scrap the car, and was considering selling the amp and stuff untill i thought it would be cool if i could use it with a stereo in my house. i just really have no idea how i would accomplish this. if anyone could tell me how i could wire it all so i could plug it into the mains in my house, and input music from a cd player/ ipod/ pc, than i would be very grateful. all info would be appreciated. i think the amp and sub are both 500 watts.

It can be done but its a REAL pain. Fisrt you have to power the thing (not easy) then you have to turn the thing on (again not easy as this is normaly done by a wire from your car stereo) Then its quite simple to hook up a cd/mp3 player to it as long as your amp has channels to drive your left and right speakers, plus your sub. if your up for a challenge then take a look at this link!!!

Easiest way is to run it from a 12 volt battery and recharge when needed. The stereo output from whatever you are running simply connects into the amp input same as before. I hope you don't live near me!
