Eastenders To Be Axed

Ive just read on the internet that Eastenders is to be axed after this year, after running for the last 29 years.
Can this really be true? I dont watch it myself but i imagine a lot of people will be very upset if it is.

apparently they are building a brand new set for it as the original one is getting very tatty and doesn't look good in HD.just like coro has done,so looks like it will be here for sometime yet

They have already axed it on BBC Entertainment Northern Europe without a word of warning. You should have seen the mails sent into their forum and the weak namby pamby excuses made by the BBC. I posted the info that it could be seen on tablets and PCs through filmon.com but of course they didn't post that info.
