Sorry to be a nuisance. Don't suppose you know the gap for a spark plug Champion L82C 20hp Chrysler. Fuel now flow into carb but still reluctant to start

Most spark plug gaps are 0.8mm or .030 inch.

The thickness of your thumbnail. That should be enough to get it 'running' but you won't pass any emission tests.


Also. If the plugs are new. Clean with some steel wool (both ends).

Make sure to remove any traces of abrasives before inserting.

The thickness of a credit card is always a good measure if you haven't got a guage

Should run ok with .025" or 6 mm gap but if a weak spark because it hasn't run for sometime I'd reduce it to .018 - .020" or around 5mm, maybe less. Put a little fuel down the plug holes to get it firing and make sure the choke is working properly.
