Mondeo V6

Car bought recently with 44k on the clock(02 plate).Runs well ,but has a very slight rough spot on tick-over,thought it might be plugs,am told that they dont normally need changing before 60k,any idea what problem could be if its not plugs

Plugs can start to fail from new, at �10 for a set, oh v6, �15 for a set then i'd just change them, or at the very least clean/regap them.

Could be 1001 things to be honest, well ok not 1001 but a lot. A good service could sort a lot of them out, another thing is how rough are we talking?, have you seen many other v6 mondeo's and do they all sound a little rough on tickover?
