I've bought loads of stuff from them before, both in store and and on-line and they've been good value and also the store staff give good advice (not the usual 'can I help you sir from a spotty faced 13 year old!)
Good words from BigMac, socks just as important, if you are going for an average sort of boot have a look at a make called" Relo" I have had a pair for about 8 years and they are really comfy, but as BigMac says wear them in first, and take some vaseline with you very handy for rubbing into sore or blistered feet, hope you don't have to use it.
Have a great time, Ray
If you are ever in Central London then you might find the link below useful. I have used Tiso in Glasgow for a number of years and always found the staff to be knowledgable and friendly without being pushy. Many of them seem to be walkers, cyclists etc.
