I've been trying to sell my car for months. I've tried all kinds of advertising. I'm now thinking of putting it for sale in an auction.

Has anyone done this? Or is there anyone on-line who works for a car auction company?

Would anyone recomend it or otherwise?

Any thoughts and experiences would be welcome. Thanks.

hi,i do a bit of buying and selling at the auctions, the trouble is cars tend to go for under book price,so with the 37 entry fee and then 7% of final price you could get back hundreds less then you wanted in the first place, have you tried ebay.
hi there i always go to auctions, but i would not recommend it as you will not get much money out of it specially if the car is old. as most cars go very cheap at an auction.
Try EBay, Ive sold loads on there, you can goto auctions, buy a car and sell on ebay without touching it and make a profit, just make sure you say in your description exactly if theres any problems with it!!!
