Chromebook Question, Something Running In Background, Strange !!

im on google chrome ( currently on answerbank website ) as im writing this i hear ads and music etc in the background, i have collapsed the page and started again but still hear the background noise, this started 2 weeks ago, this chromebook is around 3 months old, it is a new HP chromebook.

i have ad block etc installed , i also was told no virus can get into chromebook so i am mystified what this noise is in background.

should i reset the whole device ? i do not want lose pictures or anything though that i have stored.

the sounds keep coming on and off different times during the day, funny...

Have you tried running "Malware" to see if it locates the intruder?
