Why Cannot Bt Be Totally Honest?
Currently on television BT are promoting a service for £5 per month for 6 months, increasing to £15 plus £15.99 per month line rental.
Today they have announced that line rental will increase to £16.99 in December along with a number of other increased charges?
So which one really applies?

If you change supplier you will probably be stuck with monthly DD.
It's a big incentive to put up with them.
Anyway only BT can tell you if the contract they offer means they can raise the price before the 6 months is up due to some inflation clause , or whether they are committed to keeping to the original figures until after 6 months.
