Back to the point a hand...isn't it odd that football has this reputation?

We have never had a real problem with violence at cricket, athletics, rugby...just football.
Rugby is not exempt, it must be said - but it is rare. Remember this:

Firstly, it is a terribly incident to obviously a talented player. Let's hope the authorities can root out who was responsible and that the culprit is severely dealt with.

The sub-question is a difficult one in that football is a hugely popular international game spoilt at so many levels from FIFA down to pitch level. There is corruption, crowd trouble, play acting, blatant cheating, the list is endless...

Too much money and big ego's have damaged what was once the 'beautiful game'...
