i found my perfect prom shoes

i've been persuaded to go, and today i found my perfect prom shoes, well nearly perfect. they are wedge strappy sandles and i plan to paint the cork heel silvery blue so they look more formal.

with a silvery blue dress, with a waist bit thats the same colour as the silver on the shoes.

they do have ones that have white instead of the black, but they looked tacky.

Lovely shoes Molly, am not an expert but a little unsure how cork would take a paint effect, do check that out first.

Good thought matron, it might need sealing first, otherwise paint might sink in. molly, I had to dye my wedding shoes a particular chestnut brown colour and I went to Halfords and bought a little tin of spray paint in exactly the right colour, the effect was brilliant. You just have to be careful to cover up all the parts you don't want sprayed but it worked really well for me.

I've done it before with cork shoes. two layers will surficiently do it.

The Raiders were wearing shoes similar to those molly as the Police have found footprints. You live in a rough area ;-D

Prom? "Yuk!" I suppose this is another dreadful American import, like Halloween, which we are destined to suffer.
