I have just had a Postcard from Gness : a real one, with a picture on it - just like in the olden days ...

I initially thought it might have been from an imposter, because the message begins :

"Arrived safely - uneventful journey"

which seemed a vanishingly unlikely possibility.

But I was reassured about the sender when it continued

"Have destroyed daughter's bathroom after a bit of an accident with the shower hose and the towel rail"

The message concluded

"Give my love to everyone on AB

Weather Here

Wish you were Lovely

Gxx"
