You can get proper plastic spud bags but they are over priced I think just because they have a little flap at the bottom to get the spuds out.
The potatoes do come out nice and 'clean' but there's not many and I dont get any decent size to them.

its pretty easy, you just get a huge tub, with good drainage. Dump a few inches of soil in the bottom then put the potatoes in and just cover them. Every time the shoots come through the soil, cover them again until the tub is full of soil. Keep them well watered. You get nice long underground stems that way which give you more potatoes. You will never get as big a harvest as grown in the ground and the spuds won't be huge but you will get a decent crop of clean edible potatoes.
