child wont eat

can anyone tell me why my 3 year old grandson will not eat any meal not even a chip all he will eat is toast and ready break weetabix gp said not to worry we are all at our wits end his twin brothers 18 months will eat anything

hi sorry for the late reply but try this. my little girl wouldnt eat anything but milk, toast and ham she used to scream blue murder at food it was almost like she was scared to eat but someone suggested she made her own dinner it was the most messiest task i have ever done but believe me it worked she buttered her own bread, mashed eggs added salad cream and ate the lot and when tea time came i asked her if she wanted to peel the veg which she did and loved every second and then she ate all the veg,she left the meat though but it was still great progress, and told her dad when he got home from work that she made his tea. she eats now without a fuss please try it but my god be prepared for the mess

mrstrunchbul thank you for your answer ,i will be having my grandson for a couple of days this month so i will give it a try,can always clean up mess, it would be worth it if it works ,i will also pass the message on to my daughter to try as well ,thanks once again
