burning ears

sometimes when you put on or take off tight clothing like a jumper or something, and it rubs against your ear, your ear starts to burn. why is this? is it because as your ear bends some capillaries burst/break allowing some blood to go closer to your skin? is it something to do with vaso-dilation? is it the blood rushing to your ear for some reason?

at a guess i would say static electricity, i get that quite often off one of my jumpers, you can hear the sparks.

it could be, but i think its something inside my ear happening. i feel it go warm and it goes red (from blood rushing to it?)
maybe somones talking about you...
