Mans Name Welsh Pronunciation

Hi this is a bit of a long shot but i had a chance meeting with someone very briefly but I did'nt quite catch his name I know it was a welsh pronounciation & sounded something like gwth I'd like to try to find him again as he was a very nice gentleman If I could find out his name first name i would be able to locate him - TIA x
