Had my say this morning regards yesterday post Mobile phones & driving, I have in the past used my phone I must admit but now, never, it can ring and if it's that important, they can ring back.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I can't understand the "need" to respond immediately to a ringing phone, cell or otherwise: it's almost Pavlovian isn't it?:) For example, if the phone rings early in the morning Mrs stuey is stumbling out of bed and almost bouncing off the walls in order to answer it. I ask her why the rush, and she says someone might have died, had an accident, or just had a baby. I tell her that not answering the phone immediately will not change that death, accident, or birth!
