Had my say this morning regards yesterday post Mobile phones & driving, I have in the past used my phone I must admit but now, never, it can ring and if it's that important, they can ring back.
I can't understand the "need" to respond immediately to a ringing phone, cell or otherwise: it's almost Pavlovian isn't it?:) For example, if the phone rings early in the morning Mrs stuey is stumbling out of bed and almost bouncing off the walls in order to answer it. I ask her why the rush, and she says someone might have died, had an accident, or just had a baby. I tell her that not answering the phone immediately will not change that death, accident, or birth!
