Its All Beginning To Unravel For Dave !

Not before time as well. Could this be the first action of a post May 2015 Coalition perhaps ? Quote from the much-maligned Ed ::::
"He is losing his MPs, he is losing votes in the House of Commons and it is Labour which is setting the agenda for fairness,"
Difficult to argue with !

This weeks defeat in the Commons, and the continually growing list of Tory MPs that say that they will step down in 2015, is indicative of a Government that has run out of steam. It can only and will only get worse. We have been here before, with Major, in the mid-90's...it seems the Tories have learned very little since.

Mikey, I don't think I have a poor understanding of politics. I just don't hVe a blinkered one like you. Labour are panicking now about the prospect of losing power after the scottish vote. Look at this link (I know how you love polls).

far be it from me to speak for mikey naomi but I think it's precicely because Labour are not the old hardline socialists that mikey and others feel they can support them. To be fair Kinnochio started the process and Blair later continued to slaughter the sacred cows of old Labour that made it possible for them to seduce many of the electorate. Of course his tonyness based some of his doctrine on TGL herself so I'm not totally anti New Labour but mostly I am.
You are right TTT...you don't need to speak for me but thank you anyway !
All I am doing with this thread is pointing out how it is all going wrong for dave. If I didn't mention it, it is extremely unlikely that a right-winger would.
Its all going wrong for him, but he can't seem to work out what to do. I have a feeling that he will start to suck up to UKIP, but this won't work, as all it will do is to dilute the right-wing of British politics...UKIP can't possibly win but they can stop the Tories from winning.
By the way, the 1970's and 1980's are long gone now TTT, and its not really realistic to think that your avatar, or mine would win many elections nowadays. I would love to see a future Labour Government build more Council Houses, bring back our essential services, like water, the Railways, etc, into public ownership but I am not sure it will happen. Britain has moved on. We have New Tories, as well as New Labour now !
