So - should Asians try to integrate into society ? Can't help but think that if the person in this story here had been singing a song that was not English, he wouldn't have been hassled.

It is a tragedy that people are targeted as possible terrorists when they are simply ordinary people going about their business.
However, lets look at the bigger picture, do we risk another lockerbie or another 9/11 rather than inconvenience one man?
Lets not forget that it is because of the actions of men from Mr.Harraj Manns ethnic background that we are all nervous of getting on airplanes.
I couldn't condemn the actions of anyone who is suspicious of possible terrorist activity even if it turns out to be nonsense.
Inconvenience is annoying to Mr. Mann in this case but it beats the prospect of Lockerbie 2 hands down.
How can anyone think that this is what the security services or police should be doing to stop a terrorist attack? Madness and paranoia seem to rule supreme if the colour of a persons skin doesn�t fit�
If this story had appeared five days ago, I would've assumed it was an April Fool's joke.
don1 - don't you think that the authorities should be concentrating on infiltrating terrorist cells, rather than banging up someone for liking a particular Clash song?
Don't you accept that these actions, even in the wake of 9/11 are a bit...stoopid?
