He likes her then???
fink he is still hiding out in Portugal....innit ?
Only just seen this Mikey. Now moved from Mylor to Hayley. Lovely here. Going to St Ives tomorrow. Out and about in this lovely weather. Are you in Lands End yet?
I meant Hayle. This bl...y IPad predictive text always gets the better of me!
And Cupid, I don't think he likes me, I read the Daily Mail!!!!
My sis lives very close to Mylor - lovely village still intact with its services.

Know St Ives really well - if you are through Newlyn, don't forget Jelberts (near the hump-back bridge) best ice cream in Cornwall - and just Cornish vanilla.

Are you back up this way, should we say near Perranporth/Truro?
There's the 'Bucket of Blood' pub in Hayle - just out towards where the Power Station used to be.....
No, staying in Hayle till next week then back home on the A30/M5. We did North Cornwall last year, Bude etc.
Just off the A30 here.

Are you covered for info/sights etc for St Ives and West Penwith then?
Bucket of Blood? Sounds. charming! Will watch out for it wordfan.
We are going to St Michaels Mount. Love gardens, went to Trebah and Tressli k from the last place. We just take each day as it comes. Any suggestions welcome. Been to Flambards twice.
You may have to ask for directions for the Bucket - nice old pub.
On pubs, a really nice one is the Tinners Arms on the St Ives to Sennen Road in Zennor. Big walker's pub and some great walks along the cliffs - a beautiful drive too in this weather.

Avoid Lands End (totally ruined). The Minack Theatre if anything on, Lamorna Cove, Mousehole on the south side, nice drive back to St Ives from Penzaqnance to St Ives and a great little gallery at Halestown.

Galleries - I love the Bernard Leach pottery on the wayout to PZ and Zennor, can reach it by car.....in St Ives it's a question of your taste but one of the unusual places is actually the Town Hall who have the most incredible Alfred Wallis paintings - just ask. The main gallery in Penzance has some fantastiNelwyn School (Stanhope Forbes, Henry Tuke et al).

Foodwise, Porthminster cafe for watching folk and the seafood restaurant on the front upstairs about 50 yards up from the Sloop towards the (new) lifeboat jetty
Hardy Exotics Nursery is worth visiting for some unusual plants......the details:
Gilly Lane
Whitecross
Penzance
TR20 8BZ
(01736) 740660

Trengwainton Gardens as well near Penzance - though the best time for there is April/May with the rhodos/cmelias/azaleas (like Trebah)

Enjoy Marazion - really nice and some lovely shops there.

Glad you are enjoying yourself Linda ! I can't get away until December, but I intend to take the whole month off and have Xmas dinner in the 'van ! Apart from a few days at Easter, it will be my only holiday this year. I wish I could take time off in the summer or autumn but its just not possible in my job. I expect the weather has been lovely for you...you are lucky !
Yes, lovely weather. Normally have to go abroad for a tan like I have now! Just watched the sun set. Magical!!
And the moon is a big one again.
Question Author
Not here in Swansea it isn't as its very cloudy but we has a huge Moon last night !
Cloudy here last night, mikey. But not so tonight.

Linda...try to have a day out at the Lizard if you can manage it. You can easily park in the village and then stroll down to the Point. Super Cafe there, that is dog friendly and has a terrace overlooking the sea...wonderful scenery and you might see some seals !
