I sincerely thank you all for your kind words and accolades.
Butterbun even described me as "one brave man".Thanks Butterbun but if the truth be known I'm an old scardy cat.
Can I draw your attention to the Invictus games that HRH Prince Harry has organised. Now these are young men and women from many countries who have suffered so much pain both physical and mental who are so much younger than me. These totally unselfish heroes endure their problems because they thought, right or wrong in some peoples views, that they were trying to make the world a better place.I do not believe I have the right to follow in their footsteps when the word bravery is awarded to them. These young men and women are my true role models and not the so called celebrity A-listers and untalented overpaid (some) pop star musicians. As for those overpaid nancy boys who kick a pigs bladder around a field for 90mins and then display a great display of theatricals because they got kicked in the shin or whatever just to win a penalty do not know the meaning of long term pain and hardship. The real heroes are those who have the will to survive, pick them selves up and continue the fight to enjoy life. I have no interest in football, cricket, olympics etc. I will watch and support the Invictus games though. These young people are true role models and an inspiration to any one who should feel a little "down in the dumps"
Without wanting to bring politics into this I will say " Well done to Prince Harry and his brother" for representing our Royal Family and showing your leadership and support for those who fight for our country and suffer for it as a result. The Royal family are worth more than the penny a day they, apparently, cost me.
