Until a month ago I could get Lloyds Bank on both IE and Chrome but now cannot on the latter.

Can anyone shed some light on this.please?

Could try a reistall then. Or maybe a Chrome plug-in is causing issues ?

Could be , Geezer,when you say a reinstall,how do you mean..the plug-in?
Could you explain to me please..
RIGHT !!!! So this place/my PC fails to post the text I wrote, then wanders off to some "Site Rules" page, and when I go back it's slung all my text !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gosh I am so damned pleased !

Reinstall the original Chrome.

Plug ins are extra bits of code that can be added (plugged in) to the original application to add non-vital additional functionality. Those that come with the original installation should (!) be ok; but if you add further ones from 3rd parties then sometimes they can cause issues.

RIGHT ! Let's see if this thing decides to sling this away too. I'm putting it into the paste buffer first.
I don't use Java but think that you require it for Lloyds on-line banking.

Have a look in your Google Browser's Add-ons/Plug-ins and check to see if perhaps Java is there and needs up-dating.

Hans.

For safer online banking use Mozilla Firefox much more secure IMHO
Do you by any chance use Rapport software that is a security program offered by some banks? If o this could be your problem. I have found that Rapport and Chrome don't always mix well. Sometimes it's fine and all sites can be accessed, others it will block certain sites partially or completely, eBay and Facebook are two that come to mind. I got rid of Rapport for this reason as I was sick of having to have Chrome and IE both open at all times.
