I don't take much interest in politics normally but we can hardly avoid the Scottish referendum can we? The yes vote, the no vote, Salmond this, Salmond that, Darling this, Darling that. Just a gut feeling but I can't help thinking a yes vote would be a mistake. I think many unforeseen problems would occur afterwards. But what do I know? Nothing! Used to think that life was sweet. Used to feel were so complete. I can't believe, you'd throw it away.

I'll be glad when it's all over.

Getting a bit sick of the Scot-bashing that seems to be going on at the moment on various social networks.
O, awa' an' boil yer heid!!!!!

2sp - You get the odd Scot-basher here occasionally and I use the word odd advisedly.

Obiter - It's 'bile', no' 'boil'
that's an incredibly dodgy quote at the end of your OP, 10clarion :-0
Sorry, Wharton, my Scottish orthography is some what deficient.

Dinna fash yersel Obiter.
Scotch is a drink, the people are Scottish.
Actually, I knew it was wrong when I typed it, but as it is over 40 years since I read Oor Wullie and The Broons in the Sunday Post, I couldn't envisage the right spelling.
Scotch people....whoopsie.
Yeah, but someone told me they were 95% Scotch :-)
