Hey Guys, I Dont Work Anymore And Am Struggling
16 Answers
financially. I want to do a nail tech course, and have no childcare (cant afford to pay) my tutor has said I can take Polly with me as she is too young to touch anything. My only concern is that she will take in the fumes of the stuff they use and it may affect her.
Do you think this will be bad for her? If it affects her, I wont do it, she is my priority.

Hiya sqad, i have resigned due to childcare costs and no flexibility, i will go back into it when Polly is at nursery.
Siroracle, the creches are expensive even at the college and the have full day courses, which i cannot physically do with three children. The course in question is 2 days, and then continued support until we are confident to go alone.
Boxtops, i agree with you she would probably cry at the vital time.
The chemicals are potent, and it would be very stupid of me to even take Polly there so i have to give it a miss.

This might be right off beam for you Pleb but I have a friend who was a bit short of money when she gave up work after having a baby. She became an Avon lady and took her daughter with her when she was both posting the catalogues and making the deliveries of goods. She started this nine years ago and is now a regional manager, with lots of other Avon colleagues as her responsibility. At first she earned just a little but now she is earning an awful lot more. At no time has she ever had to pay childcare costs.
