When is 1st Class Mail no longer 1st Class?
When you have to post before 9.am?

Daisy, I think it's very difficult now to have a card reach someone on the actual day, I feel it's more luck than anything and I send lots of cards, first and second. Was only bemoaning this fact the other day that I have to send at least three to four days in advance of the date just so it has a chance of getting there, even a week in advance at times. Such is the progress and modernisation ha...of rotten mail, oops, Royal Mail.

I predicted this sort of thing when the Tories hived off the Royal Mail. It was all written in the stars !
